Community Garden

Garden from the Ground Up is an organic, community driven garden in Chesterfield Valley, Missouri. Through a generous donation of land from owner, Jack Scharr, we have begun our first year of planting, maintaining and harvesting our own food. Over an acre of land has been divided into a dozen smaller plots and one large community plot where we will grow larger crops that need lots of space.

Some are seasoned gardeners; for others, this is their first experience with gardening. We support each other with watering, weeding and larger community plot events. As we walk through this first year, we are already learning as we go...
